Popcorn and the Spice of Life

Utensils:
Sauce Pan:  Medium sized
Large Bowl
Table Spoon
1/3 measuring cup

Ingredients:
Oil: Experiment with various oils (Grape,
Olive, Coconut, Corn, etc…)
•    My favorite four
Popcorn: Experiment with different
varieties.  All have their own distinct flavor
Seasoning:  Spice of Life
Procedure:
2 TBS oil
•    Pour into sauce pan and Preheat on stove burner at Medium
Heat
•    Drop 2 kernels of corn in sauce pan. When they pop, ADD…
1/3 Cup popcorn
•    Place lid on pan
•    When popcorn has popped about 15-20 seconds, lift pan off
burner and shake well
•    Replace pan on burner and allow corn to pop another 15-20
seconds and shake again
•    When it’s close to done, turn off burner and let it finish popping
•    Transfer popped corn to a large bowl
•    Sprinkle lots of Spice of Life seasoning.  Mix the popped corn
and sprinkle more seasoning until entire bowl has been seasoned
-Makes about 3 quarts

Note:  I sometimes sprinkle Parmesan cheese (in a can/jar) along
with Spice of Life seasoning, or occasionally pour melted butter on
the popcorn and then sprinkle with
Spice of Life seasoning.

Savor!
